Limits of Symbian CLCD HI JVM

Are there any limits (resources, performance, heap, etc) the Symbian CLDC HI JVM imposes that a "typical CDC JVM" does not?

(I'm aware of the differences in Java library support, so I'm interested primarily in run-time behavior.)

Is there anyone who has experience with this?

Is there anyone who has pushed the CLDC HI JVM to the limit?

If so, what limits have you found?

    Thank you

Re: Limits of Symbian CLCD HI JVM

    Hi Kevin,

The CLDC supports only micro devices like the mobile phones while CDC is for devices like the PDA.
So CLDC has less heap and also the size of the applications should be very small. Where as for CDC it can be a little more.
The performance is also better on the CDC than on the CLDC.

    Difference is here

You may also search the forum since more detailed explanations will be given
