Problem with SyncML HTTP on E60

    Hello,

I have a Nokia E60 smartphone, configured for SyncML over HTTP. When I am synchronizing with this device the synchronization of Calendar items fails, and the device responses a 415 error. The other items, such as Contacts and Notes/Tasks, works well. When the device attempts to send an item, the device reports a 'Feature not supported error'. The session starts normally but when the device is about to send the first sync node with calendar items it aborts the sync session with the session.

Has any of you seen this before? What happens, and why doesn't it work? And how can I fix this? Hope you can help me with this.

    Kind regards,

    Nico.

Are you in control of the involved OMA SyncML DS server or are you an end-consumer? When the latter is your case, I recommend to contact the provider of your server to look up the logs of the server.

Question Re: Problem with SyncML HTTP on E60

Well, actually I am testing the device for synchronizing. The problem is that almost all the Nokia devices work correctly, but the E60 seems to behave different. The Contacts are synchronized well, but the Calender does not. And I don't know why. Other Nokia devices I tested worked well.

    Hope you can help. Thanks!

We found out that Calender had to be calender. We are now testing if lowercase/uppercase makes a difference on the other items too. Anyone tested this already?

These have to match byte-wise. Even had SyncML phones which are sensitive to the capitalisation of the MIME media types although this should not matter.
