    MMS over UCP

    Hi,
    I don't know very well how MMS works.
    I know about the MMS file that must be hosted into a server for a successive download and that I need to send an MMS Notification via ucp with the MMS file location.
    I have to use the UCP 51 command to send it, right ?
    but what about the parameter ? where can I find some info or help about that ?

    Thanks in advance
    Enrico

    Re: MMS over UCP

    Ok, I found parameters of the MMS notification
    I think that's correct

    0605040b8400010006266170706c69636174696f6e2f766f642f7761702f6d6d732d6d65737361676500af84b4818dca8c829832323232008d908a808e026c8d8802ffff83687474703A2F2F3135312E392E38372E31332F76656C656E2E6D6D7300

    and here is the parameters of that string

    0605040B8400 --> UDH
    01 --> Total of segment
    00 --> Current segment
    0626 --> Ox26 = Octet38 I think the Ox26 is the Following Bytes Count
    6170706C69636174696F6E2F766E642E7761702E6D6D732D6D65737361676500 --> application/vnd.wap.mms-message
    AF84 --> I don't know
    B4 --> Push-Flag 0x34 | 0x80
    81 --> Value 01 | 0X80
    8D --> Content-Length 0x0d| 0x80
    57 --> Total byte in MMS Body 0x4a | 0x80. 4*16+10=....boh !87

    Below is the Msg Body . Encode refer to wap 209.

    8C --> X-Mms-Message-Type
    82 --> Msg-Type value. 82 mean 'm-notification-ind
    98 --> X-Mms-Transaction-ID
    32323233345F5F6D6D683200 --> Transcation-ID value. End with Ox00
    8D --> X-Mms-MMS-Version
    90 --> Version value
    89 --> From
    14 --> lenth of FROM txt element + 2 (length of 41519178/TYPE=PLMN = 18)
    80 --> Address-present-token
    34313531393137382D545950453D504C4D4E00 --> From's Value : 41519178/TYPE=PLMN . End with Ox 00
    96 --> Subject
    4E524B00 --> NRK is Subject Value. if a String then end with Ox00
    8A --> X-Mms-Message-Class
    80 --> Ox80=Octet 128:Personal,129:Advertisement,130 Information,131 Auto
    8E --> X-Mms-Message-Size
    02A067 --> Message Size value
    88 --> X-Mms-Expiry
    058103093A7D --> this is a time values
    83 --> X-Mms-Content-Location
    687474703A2F2F3135312E392E38372E31332F76656C656E2E6D6D7300 --> http://151.9.87.13/velen.mms //if String must end with Ox00

    is this correct ? at the moment seems it's not working...

    Re: MMS over UCP

    That's the UCP string I'm trying to send

    /00301/O/51/00393356560004/10CD31F1ED0EB3C973/////////////////4/0784/0605040b8400010006266170706c69636174696f6e2f766f642f7761702f6d6d732d6d65737361676500af84b4818dca8c829832323232008d908a808e026c8d8802ffff83687474703A2F2F3135312E392E38372E31332F76656C656E2E6D6D7300////1////5039//01070605040B8423F0///

    here it the syntax of the strig

    /00301 --> String lenght (decimal)
    /O --> ???
    /51 --> COMMAND 51 (SUBMIT)
    /00393356560004 --> AdC (address code recipient)

    /EMPTY --> NRq (notification request)
    /EMPTY --> NAdC (notification address)
    /EMPTY --> NT (notification type)
    /EMPTY --> NPID (Notification PID value)
    /EMPTY --> LRq (last resort address request)
    /EMPTY --> LRAd (last resort address)
    /EMPTY --> LPID (LRAD PID value)

    /EMPTY --> VP (Validity Period DDMMYYHHmm)
    /EMPTY --> RPID (Replace PID value)
    /EMPTY --> SCTS (service center time stamp DDMMYYHHmmss)
    /EMPTY --> Dst (delivery status)
    /EMPTY --> Rsn (Reason code)
    /EMPTY --> DSCTS (Delivery time stamp DDMMYYHHmmss)
    /4 --> MT (message type)
    /0784 --> NB (num of bits in transparent data (TD) lenx4)
    /0605040b8400010006..... --> TMsg (TD message encoded into IRA characters) (llok to the precedent post in this forum)
    /EMPTY --> MMS (more message to send to the same SME)
    /EMPTY --> PR (priority request)
    /EMPTY --> DCs (deprecated)
    /1 --> MCLs (message class)
    /EMPTY --> RPI (reply path)
    /EMPTY --> CPg (reserved for code page)
    /EMPTY --> RPLy (reserved for reply page)
    /5039 --> OTOA (originator type of address)
    /EMPTY --> HPLMN (Home PLMN address)
    /01070605040B8423F0 --> XSer (extra service) ???
    /EMPTY --> RES4
    /EMPTY --> RES5

    But it's not working. I'm not sure if the problem is in the ucp string or in the MMS notification string.

    Someone could help me please ??

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: MMS over UCP

    AF 84 means WAP-Push-Application-Id=>MMS User Agent.
    I don't know how to use UCP for sending MM, and I send the Notification with SMS, and your notification seems to be correct. Another point in the server (like apache) you have to configure the mime type for .mms.
