Symbian DevCert signed sis + UID protected range

    Working with S60 3rd edition.
While using Symbian Developer's Certificate to sign my sis, should I use UID3 and SECUREID from protected range class 0 (0x00000000 - 0x0FFFFFFF, development only) or protected range class 2 (0x20000000 - 0x2FFFFFFF). Thanks for help.

Re: Symbian DevCert signed sis + UID protected range

Section 2.24 of this document answers your question, I think:

    http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._0_en.pdf.html

It's OK to use the range 0x00000000 - 0x0FFFFFFF for development testing, signing with your Symbian Signed Dev Cert. When you submit it to Symbian Signed for testing however, it must have a UID allocated from the range 0x20000000 - 0x2FFFFFFF

Re: Symbian DevCert signed sis + UID protected range

Thanks for reply. My question was connected with problems, which appeared during installation Symbian DevCert signed sis. I tried both classes (0 and 2), but only IMEI's format was wrong. With Symbian Developer's Certificate you can use both classes.
