    debuging on carbide and emulator.

    Hi,
i've Series60 codewarrior sdks 1.2 , 2.0 and 2.1 installed and the carbide.c express IDE seems working pretty but with a following problem .

i tried with following JRE: 1.4.2
Perl : This is perl, v5.6.1 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread.
i've codewarrior 2.xx is also installed but debug in it is ok.

i can compile all fine, but can't start the debugger with udeb emulator for debugging my simple app through carbide ide.

    it gives following error:
Error Creating Session:Failed to initialise the CORBA frameowrk or could not connect to the CodeWarrior debugger - engine CORBA server.

can someone suggest a way out ?

    Thanks.

Have you tried importing one of the SDK examples from MMP and debugging that? The SDKs you listed are all pretty old; I don't think we've tested on anything much older than S60 2.6.

    Regards,

Re: debuging on carbide and emulator.

I received the same error message when trying to debug from Eclipse.

My problem was firewall - hi blocked connection to local debugger, after allowing such connections all is OK.

    I am using CW3.1, SDK 2.0.
