You cannot get that information from Java, sorry. Nor can you refuse/dismiss the incoming call from your midlet.

Re: How to know when a phone call is received ?

    Thanks for your response.
I can't use Symbian C++ because the mobile phone only accept java application ...

I would like to use AT commands (hayes) to command the mobile phone.
Is it possible to send AT commands to integrated modem on Nokia 6021 and get the response ? (bluetooth ?)
If it's possible, have you got an example ?

    thanks a lot

Re: How to know when a phone call is received ?

I'm developing an answering machine for s40 3rd edition mobile phones. I red an article that there's a trick which can record a call in selected s40 mobile phones but its only a trick. Regarding to its functionality, recording and playing is possible using MMAPI 1.0 or higher with JSR-135 but the problem is the actual recording of call or how to record a call via gateway. What do you think is the best way to record a one way call? Thank You!

Re: How to know when a phone call is received ?

@skidz13 : Please dont make multiple posts in same regard. I have already posted a reply here http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ad.php?t=92394

@ prakashforum : I have seen S40 5th ed phones like 7500 which supports call recording from the firmware, not from a Java ME app. I am not sure whether there exist any other trick.
