    6230i record store full?

Hi.I have 6230i... When I did try to retrieve to my e-mail İt said "record store full" .it was almost full (99% usually) even though all the folders were empty! A short while after posting my question it started working and I was able to download my email with no problems (although I did get the occasional error message). However, I deleted all my emails today and I have the problem back...keep getting the message 'Record Store Full', even though all the folders are empty!

Could this be a software problem as I'm not sure how I got it working last time...just sort of happened ver. 03.40

    Re: 6230i record store full?

    hi sarveniko,

that's probably customer not developer issue
I've found similiar probelm on that nokia phone users forum:

try going into the mail application and then to "options" and then to "e-mail storage". it should show you how much storage space has been used and how much is still available. must say, though, that the amount of memory available for email is really small...
    hth,
    regards,
    Peter

    Re: 6230i record store full?

What solved it for me was to go to Main menu of the phone, then Messages (Number 1 on main menu), then Delete Messages (Number 11 on menu), then Saved Multimedia (Number 5)
