    reply soon!

    hi mateen
    i tried to run the project as u told , wht i did is i made one new project in carbide c++ n copied the contents of the example code of spalsh screen which i took frm newlc site then tried to run this project
    wht happened is the project encountered following error.

    -----------
    ERROR:
    --------

    2ERROR: EGray256 Mask not found! C:\Carbide\Splash\aif\list_icon_mask_soft.bmp Splash


    this is the only error i found i nthe project everything else is running properly n there are no warning s even . JUST ONE ERROR !!!
    PLZ HELP ME OUT SOLVING THIS ERROR related to mask

    hi ,


    well u have this line in ur mmp file of the splash downloaded from newlc

    AIF Splash.aif ..\aif Splashaif.rss c8 context_pane_icon.bmp context_pane_icon_mask.bmp list_icon.bmp list_icon_mask.bmp


    copy the files from ur aif folder and create a folder of gfx(graphics) folder ok.

    and then

    in ur mmp of the new project created

    add these lines

    use this in ur mmp file

    START BITMAP bitmap.mbm
    HEADER
    TARGETPATH \Resource\Apps
    SOURCEPATH ..\gfx
    SOURCE c8,1 context_pane_icon.bmp context_pane_icon_mask.bmp list_icon.bmp list_icon_mask.bmp
    END


    and rebuild it from the command prompt will resolve the error.

    i hav tired half wht u said now m channging the SOURCE one u told but m not getting the group folder in my project!!!

    hi,

    the problem is with the IDE that ur using and which i'm not much aware of.

    I guess ur needing help immediately. I don't know wht ur trying to acheive.
