    MMS Message Creation

    Hi

I'm trying to build a MMS service and would need to send MMS messages with content, which I wouldn't want users to be able to forward nor save to files.

Does anybody know how could I achieve this ?

I quess it's some flag in the headers, but I seem not to be able to figure it out.

    RE: MMS Message Creation

    Hello!

There is not a standard way to do this. Nokia handset will not be able to forward MMS messages having a audio component attached.

Ericsson has a specially formed MIME types to protect the content.

    RE: MMS Message Creation

hi - this is a very interesting discussion.

I've previously posted on this forum about this very issue without much success.
So are we now saying that the best way to prevent a user from forwarding content is to include a midi file in the smil, even though sound isn't yet properly supported? Also what happens when a Nokia phone receives the different mime types created by Ericsson ?
Surely there must be a way to prevent copyright and content rich MMS from being distributed freely.

    thanks

You're wanting a way to protect your SIS file from being forwarded.

SIS file types are not among the protected file types that cannot be forwarded. So it is currently not possible for Nokia terminals. Sorry.
