    Symbian Applications for 3rd Edition

Currently I'm using nokia E61 phone and I would like to develop applications for my programs..

Would like to ask you guys, what applications/programs do i need to start off developing these applications?

Which language do I have to use to develop the application ?

And also, can i use ms studio .net to develop these symbian applications for my 3rd edition phones? (any program for me as i would like to prefer drag and drop IDE?)

Anyone can help me with these??

You can write apps in C++, Java (J2ME) or even Python.

SDKs and tools for the model (or generally for S60 3rd Edition based devices) through the device specs page: http://forum.nokia.com/e61

Then you need the C++ tools (S60 3rd Edition C++ SDK and with it either Carbide.c++ Express, or CodeWarrior 3.1, or Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 with Carbide.vs).
