Question SIP stack in Nokia E60

Whether stack versions SIP_3.29-S60-2.0b.sis or SIP_3.29-S60-2.1b.sis can be installed in Nokia E60? If not, what versions of SIP stack can be installed and used in E60? Thank you.

Re: SIP stack in Nokia E60

    Hi
I am also New to SIP, This is my suggession to U.
E60 is a 3.0 phone so no need to install any SIP stack(plug in) externally. 3.0 SDK itself contains the SIP stack and server emulator. In the SDK Documentation thay explained how to use SIP APIs and classes. One example also providedin Examples.

    satya.

Question Re: SIP stack in Nokia E60

    Dear Satya,
Many thanks for your kind answer. My question was just because I would like to upgrade SIP stack to newer because of the followed PROBLEM:

In case of NOKIA E60 is behind of NAT (Network address translation), Nokia's SIP stack can't process the last packet 200 OK in order to understand that the registration has been success.
In the menu SIP settings there is "Registration failed" after receiving the
last packet (200 Ok) . All other SIP stacks (for example Cisco SIP stack or Budgetone SIP stack) are able to process the last message 200 OK properly.

    MY OPINION IS:
I think the problem is connected with the "Contact:" field because the "Contact:" field is a little different from an expected value.
Nokia receives <sip:0977067208@82.210.xx.xx:5060> instead of <sip:0977067208@192.168.51.58>
All SIP stacks don't care about it except for nokia stack.
In case of mentioned problem, it is impossible to make internet phone calls
if you have got a private IP adress from an internet provider.

That is why I try to update SIP stack in E60.

Thank you. What version of SDK release did you mean?
The main question now how to bypass this defect. That is why I think and ask about upgrade of SIP stack.
