Question connectivity options in MIDP 20

    Please give me some idea.

Which type of Connection we should use for a particular situation,

eg: as midp 20 has supports for following Connections.

    1. Socket connection.
    2. Http Connection.
    3. Https Connection.
    4. Content Connection.
    5. Stream Connection.
    6. Datagram Connection.

As sometimes people ask, why are you using HttpConnection, why not SocketConnection ?

I want to know Advantages / Disadvantages of each.
so that it is clear that - When we should use a particular type of connection.

If somebody providing some links or tutorials - could be a great help.

Re: connectivity options in MIDP 20

    Hello,

there is a decent Nokia document for business applicaiton which exactly comments all issues with Generic Connection Framework connectivity types:
    http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._0_en.pdf.html
    ("Enterprise: Developing End-To-End Systems")
there are many things that are to be taken into accounts when deciding what type of connection use in particular applicaiton,
    see document content for details,

    hth,
    regards,
    Peter
