    Symbian bootup completion?

friends, does ony one know how to figure out when a phone has finished its bootup.
I have a recogniser that connects to an http server on boot, but if gprs is used too soon, the phone crashes or reboots.

does anyone know a solution to this problem apart from random wait.
    look for some process?

    cheers

I usually just monitor when the phone app is on and after that do my application start-up. You could maybe check which sort of server is required for teh connection and wait untill it is up and running.

i thought of doing that...does the symbian startOnBoot API do that automatically?

i am trying to read IMSI and then send sms...this is crashing.
Any clue on which process should i monitor?

    Cheers
