    Hello dear,

    U need to add one entry in some files as follows:

    msvids.h
    ---------------
    const TMsvId KMsvMyFoldersEntryId=KMsvMyFoldersEntryIdValue; //0x1008 //Added By Kiran
    msvstd.hrh
    -----------------
    #define KMsvMyFoldersEntryIdValue 0x1008 //Added by Kiran
    Then u can use this entry as u do with KMsvGlobalInBoxIndexEntryId etc.. entries.

    If u still find any problem, u just need to ask me again.

    Note: Add above entries at meaningful place in both files for yr understanding in future requirement.

    Regards.
    Kiran.

    Re: How can we know the id of the folder in the document folder of the message area .

    Hello pankaj,

    Have a look at following:

    TMsvSelectionOrdering sort;
    sort.SetShowInvisibleEntries(ETrue); // we want to handle also the invisible entries

    CMsvEntry* inboxContext=CMsvEntry::NewL(*iSession,KMsvMyFoldersEntryIdValue,sort);
    CleanupStack::PushL(inboxContext);

    CMsvEntrySelection* entries = inboxContext->ChildrenL();
    CleanupStack::PushL( entries );

    TInt msgCount= entries->Count();
    for (TInt i=0; i<entries->Count(); i++)
    {

    TMsvId entryID = entries->At(i);
    iSmsMtm->SwitchCurrentEntryL(entryID);

    CMsvEntry* entry= iSession->GetEntryL((*entries)[i]);
    CleanupStack::PushL(entry);

    TMsvEntry entry1 = entry->Entry();

    CMsvStore* inboxStore= entry->ReadStoreL();
    CleanupStack::PushL(inboxStore);
    ...........
    ...........
    .........
    I have not done the way u want.
    But i hope this small snippet would be helpful to u.
    Have some R&D and go in the right direction.
    If u feel that i m detouring then i m sorry for that.

    Search through forums.

    Regards.
    Kiran.
