    6610i deployment problems

    Hi All!!

I am trying to deploy a Midlet through a DKU cable to my nokia 6610i.
The jar file installs perfectly, however when i open the application the only option availabe to me is to delete the program, all the rest of the options are greyed out.

I have looked throught the forums and noticed this hapens quite often, it seems it happens when th phone cant support the Midp profile in the .jad file. However i have specifed a supported profile for this phone. (see jad below)

Does anyone have any ideas how to get around this? Thanks in advance!

    jad:

    MIDlet-Version: 1.0
    MIDlet-Vendor: MRP
    MIDlet-Jar-URL: http://localhost:8080/MRPServer
    MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.0
    MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-1.0
    MIDlet-Name: MRP

    Re: 6610i deployment problems

    ok everybody!!

I found out what was wrong, allthough im not sure why. I am using eclipse with the nokia j2me plugin, i was packaging the eclipse export jar function and including a taylor made jad file. It probably should work fine, but theres a problem somewhere by packaging it that way.

If you package it with the nokia plugin packaging tool (right click on the project and go to package) it seems to work perfectly!!

    happy programming!
