    How to know that Phone is in idal state

    HI all
    I want to know that how can know that phone main view is in focuse.that means phone is in home screen and no key is pressed or user is not doing any work.I used the following Code .


    TInt iPhoneId =CEikonEnv::Static()->WsSession().FindWindowGroupIdentifier(0,_L("*Phone?"));


    if(CEikonEnv::Static()->WsSession().GetFocusWindowGroup() == iPhoneId )
    {
    PlaySong();
    }

    It is working .But The condition is also true when user is dialing the number .That mean number dialog is visseble But in this case i want the condition False.How can i do it



    Pls help Its Urgent

    that is because the dilaogs are part of the phone application, so there is no focus change there when user dials number or does any other activities in the phone application.

    Did you find a solution?

    Seems we can't get pointer to RWindowGroup of another application, so we can't insert windows into phone app's window tree, so that such window would be shown above Phone App's main window but below any dialogs.
    The only way seems to be drawing window with own RWindowGroup on top of phone app, but the problem is how not to overdraw contents of dialed number or other dialog.
    Shame that Symbian doesn't allow apps to register home screen plugins, even in Symbian 9.1 I didn't find a way.
