Widcomm SDK is now FREE of charge

    Hi All,

Following on from Microsoft announcement to make Windows CE open Source.

Widcomm SDK has now been made free of charge to Developers.

You are required to register. Previously this was chargeable.

I feel this is an exciting move and will bring a lot of developers into the mobile market using bluetooth.

Developers now only have to register at the Broadcom site to gain access to the downloads. The BTW SDK is compatible with all WidComm stacks from version 1.4.2.10, including v3.x and v5.x
I think you will find that support will be chargeable, like Microsoft:-

In Nokia with a thriving forum Community support we have a Opportunity to be moving ahead with development in bluetooth as another path is opened.

    Register for access at :-

    http://www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_sdk.php

    Good Luck
    Jim

I have knew this 1 week ago.

    Anyway, thx for the news.

However, the wildcomm SDK does not support Headset and handfree profile for the PC, too bad, any idea?

Nice to have the time to follow latest news

You cannot have access A2DP stereo driver either which is supplied on for a Belkin BT USB.
How bad I would have felt to have paid for this?.
