element does not have type defined error

I am getting a "<do> element does not have type defined" error message when I try to put two or more do elements of type "options" into the template. Actually I get this error when ever I have two or more type attributes with the same value. If I give random non-duplicate values to the type attribute then the page processes o.k. and the "do" tasks options actually show up in the options menu.

This works fine on older emulators and on nearly all phones with the exception of the Ericsson T68 which fails to process the page for exactly the same reason whenever the the DTD is set to WML 1.3

Is this just a bug with the MIT? I am using: Build ID: 2001_09_13_VER_3.0_FINAL (Release Build) or am I missing something in the WML spec?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ronan
