I've got a setup running that can 'beam' any OTA xml to a phone.. that much works, my system encodes the XML to WBXML, adds a HMAC key, sends the OTA, the SMSes arrive, I enter the pin, I can save the settings etc. All cool.
The problem is (as usual, I suspect) the actual contents of the XML.
What I want is to have a nokia E70 phone get a correct Wireless Lan (wifi) access point set up through OTA.
Now the 'BEARER' type Ive found by a bit of trial and error (since it isnt actually listed in the official OMA documents) - it should be 'WLAN'.
However my next hurdle is that I need to set the Netw. Mode to "Infrastructure". It seems to default to 'Ad-Hoc'.
Can someone tell me what the correct XML characteristic should be? Currently I have:
If I send this it almost works out of the box, but I need to switch Netw. Mode to 'infrastructure' manually first. What OTA parm name do I need here to do this over OTA?
<parm name="NAPID" value="wlan1"/>
<parm name="BEARER" value="WLAN"/>
<parm name="NAME" value="MyWLANName"/>
<parm name="INTERNET" value="1"/>
<parm name="SSID" value="MartenRules"/>
<parm name="NetworkMode" value="Infrastructure"/>
Thanks for your time!
