    JAR application signing

I apologise if the answer to this question is obvious, or if the question has been asked before. I am a developer of mobile games, and when installing to Series 60 devices a message appears concerning the "Untrusted" application.

My question is, what is the cheapest, quickest way to have your JAR signed by a certificate that is acceptable to every Series 60 device and would stop this message appearing.

It should be noted that the game uses JSR-120 Wireless Messaging API.

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: JAR application signing

    Hello,

follow Hartti's FAQ section entry about signing:
    http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ad.php?t=85660
then please post what specifically you want that certs for:
    - for signing some restricted api
    - or just for changing ams installation message
there are exception in MIPD 2.0 security/certs when speaking about wmapi from general security rules:

    Re: JAR application signing

My only concern is removing the "Untrusted" message during installation of the MIDlet. I am not concerned with any other dialogues, and it is perfectly acceptable for the application to ask for confirmation from the user when using the WMA.
