    Question N73 Camera

    Hi,

I recently bought a Nokia N73 and am happy with everything except the camera. For a 3.2MP camera, the quality of images is really poor. Due, I suspect, to the heavy compression applied after the image has been captured.

I am wondering whether it is possible to modify the camera software to allow me to either lower the default compression rate, disable it completely, or alternatively hook in a custom written module to the existing software to either bypass the existing compression system or implement my own.

    Cheers,
    James

I'd be interested in this too. I really want to stop the n73 raping my images...
