    Hi all,

    Can u pls advise me how to add audio format in Originating App. In nokia java library examples they have added only text n image. But I would like to know how to do by audio stuffs.

    Under MMContent class they have given the content types for the following
    CT_TEXT_HTML, CT_TEXT_PLAIN, CT_TEXT_WML, CT_IMAGE_GIF,
    CT_IMAGE_JPEG, CT_IMAGE_WBMP, CT_APPLICATION_SMIL, etc.
    (these constants are defined in the interface IMMConstants)

    RE: how to insert audio format in Originating App

    Hi,

    You can add audio to MMS using MMS Librarys OriginatingApp. Just use plain MIME type instead of predefined constants.

    ------------------------
    // Adds audio content
    MMContent part2 = new MMContent();
    byte[] buf2 = readFile(path + "sound.mid"
    part2.setContent(buf2, 0, buf2.length);
    part2.setContentId("sound.mid"
    part2.setType("audio/midi" // If you add AMR content, use audio/amr.
    -----------------------------

    Best regards,
    V / Forum Nokia
    mm.addContent(part2);
