Hi everyone. I have a J2ME application that doesnt seem to be displaying any sort of prompt to inform the user of an incoming voice call. The applications has permissions in it for platform requests, sms msg receiving, http and https connections, and access to handsets phone #.
Ive tried with other J2ME apps on the same handset, and they seem to get a prompt, so this one seems to be the exception. I initially thought that the OEM might have overlooked the UI for the prompt for a Java app, which is why I used another game app to test.
The issue occurs when the client is in a dormant stage, but still open on the handset. We can see the handset receiving the page message for the call, but the prompt that appears in all other parts of the handset does not appear when in this client.
We have confirmed that there is no data session active, so theoretically the call should come through.
Do you guys have any ideas as to what is, or is not, happening ?
if you need any more details, please let me know.
