    7710 SDK and Borland C++BuilderX

    Hello,

    I am new to symbian programming, I've Installed 7710 SDK, Borland C++BuilderX, Java Runtime 1.4.1, .NET Framwork 1.1, Active Perl.

    I have 2 queries,

    1) When i try to add Series60 SDK in Borland, I dont see any option for 7710 or S60 V9.0

    2) When i click Application Wizard under tools in 7710 SDK , Nothing happens i mean it doesnt open. Why?

    Thanks

    7710 is not an S60/Series 60 phone. It is based on "Series 90 1.0" and Symbian OS 7.0s.

    Also, there is no "S60 V9.0". There is Symbian OS 9.0, but it is not used in any device. There is also S60 3rd Edition (S60 3.0), and it is based on Symbian OS 9.1.

    Furthermore, there is no Symbian 9 SDK (S60 3rd Edition or otherwise) for Borland. The 7710 SDK might not work with Borland either, I think. It might be that only CodeWarrior does.

    What tools you should use for 7710 development, you can see/find out here:
