    Hi xfahad,
I think there's error on your resource file (.rss) so the .rsg file can't be generated. That's why your AppUi can't find the .rsg file. Please confirm that your resource file is error free.

    Hello!
I also got these in the past...

Try placing your project files in a path without spaces (e.g. "Program Files" not a good place) and make sure Symbian is installed on the same drive, also in a path without spaces.

Also, make sure you have Perl installed (v > 5.6.1).

    Then use the normal way:
    Code:
    bldmake bldfiles
    abld makefile vc6
    abld build wins udeb

Re: Still cant solve this prob

    Hi
I have take this from the Carbide.C++ Developer instructions which pops up when you thought install was complete!. Applies to Express,Developer,Professional versions
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re not done installing just yet... Release: 1.1.0
    Revised: August 2006

To complete your installation and start Symbian C++ application development, you must install the following:

    Installing Perl
The Carbide.c++ tools require a copy of Perl to run build scripts:

    Perl (www.activestate.com)
    ActivePerl-5.6.1.635
    ftp://ftp.activestate.com/ActivePerl...SWin32-x86.msi

    Installing CTags
The default parser Carbide currently uses is CTags, which generates an index (or tag) file of the language objects found in source files for quick and easy location by a text editor or other utility. If you want to use this parser you must download and install it on your PATH.
    http://ctags.sourceforge.net

    Installing SDKs
Also, you must install at least one of the following SDKs to develop Symbian applications:
    S60 Platform SDKs http://forum.nokia.com/main/resource..._sdks/carbide/

    http://forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia...16-3.0-mr.html

    Copyright ;2006 Nokia Corporation
    -------------------------------------------------

Finally you have to have S60 3rd ED Maintenance (2006) Release not the original 2005 version still around!.
