Close or eliminate one service in L2CAP

    Hi,

Now I'm developing a bluetooth application and I have a problem in the moment when I will destroy or close the servicerecord in L2CAP, because I close the L2CAPConnectionNotifier and theorically the servicerecord doesn't exist (It is true in StreamConnection), but really it already exists.

If someone knows the key of eliminate the servicerecord of SDDB, please answer it.

    Thanks for all,

    Gonzi

You have to close at least three objects. Nevertheless, which model, edition and feature pack are you testing/targeting.

Re: Close or eliminate one service in L2CAP

    Hi,

I use the nokia prototype S60 SDK, because my intension is to develop this application in nokia 6600.

I don't understand when you say that it is necessary to close three object, because you only close one servicerecord, doesn't you. Thus why do you need to close three object?

    Thanks for your answer.

Check if the same happens on a real device. Perhaps a bug of the emulator. Mixed that with SPP, yes you close just the L2CAPConnectionNotifier and all L2CAPConnection objects.

Re: Close or eliminate one service in L2CAP

    Hi,

I have different tests in the real device and I am not able to close the service in L2CAP. Although when I developed the application using SPP, I saw that the service was eliminate to the SDDB and everything worked well. However in L2CAP doesn't happens the same, really I don't know how to make this, and in my application it is necessary to implement using L2CAP.
If you know something more to make, please tell me.

    Regards,

I already find the solution. It consists in closing the L2CAPConnectionNotifier and L2CAPConnection too.
