    Nokia 6131 IMAP problem

I have setup IMAP to my company. It is over SSL. I can make the connection and authenticate. However i always get 0 messages whereas my INBOX has several old and new messages.

The outgoing (via secure SMTP) works just fine using the same account information.

The firmware on my phone is V 03.70 12-05-06 RM-115.

Has anyone else had any problems? BTW is the Nokia IMAP client capable of IMAP4?

6131 has IMAP 4 support. Unfortunately I do not know off the top of my head what causes your problems. As this is end-user related problem, you could get better answers here http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/

    Re: Nokia 6131 IMAP problem

Had no problems to update 6131 inbox with an IMAP account over SSL. Either this must be an invididual case with your particular phone or it is an issue on the server/network side.

    Re: Nokia 6131 IMAP problem

Hi, I have the same problem with my 6131 - always saying that there's no new messages, even that when there are new ones.

I found useful this site http://xdeb.org/node/670#comment-352 and I could configure my 6131 to access IMAP server, but still the "no new messages" is ocurring.

    Please, any help?

    Thanks,
    Fabio
