    error with \epoc32\gcc\bin\g++.exe

    Hello,
    In installed Carbide C++ and I cannot compile C++ programs (outside carbide) anymore. For instance, when trying to run minggw32-make for a Qt application, I am getting the error message:
    "Sorry, \epoc32\gcc\bin\g++.exe is not supported in this release. Please use a different device..."
    I don't understand what I did wrong in the installation of Carbide C++ to mess up my system. Any way to fix that beyond the radical uninstallation of Carbide C++?
    Thanks to shed some light on that!

    How strange. As far as I know Carbide.c++ does not modify any system paths or environment variables. Do you have multiple SDKs installed? I'd start by running "devices" from the command line to make sure that the right SDK is set as the default.

    The Symbian toolchain version of g++.exe is in your PATH before any other versions. You cannot invoke the Symbian toolchain version directly (you'll get the error note you've observed).

    For non-Symbian g++ development, just remove \epoc32\gcc\bin\ from your PATH environment variable.
