    Question ADS vs GCC

    can ne plz help me out here........... im wondering which compiler is better GCC or ADS........... which one of these 2 Compilers produce faster codes........... i need to optimize an application so im not able to make up my mind on wat to use.........

    I have not done any performance or code size/code generation comparisons between GCC-E vs. RVCT, but I've read or been told that RVCT is better.

    Note, however, that the difference doesn't seem to be that much, and will probably also depend very much on how the source code has been constructed (bad original design/algorithms might very well negate any optimization done by the compiler).

    If you need real/true quantification, then I'm not the right person to help.

    Note also that there's a fairly significant price difference which may or may not matter to you.

    thanx petrib..... i guess my code quite well developed thats what i think...... so it shud make a diff........ even a little diff is gr8........
