Question How to delete items installed on the emulater?

I have made some test programs installed on the emulate ,however ,I can't remove them from it.I had tried to press the option menu and select remove to delete them ,but there was no effect. It's there a way to do so?

At least on VS/Carbide.vs you should find Clean useful.
When working with VS/Carbide.vs most of the stuff you do is Visual Studio based so ti help to get familiar with VS.

    Thank you.
but,I have tried the clean cmd,no effect. It's that a good idea?
sorry,I think I didn't describe my meaning well.
    I mean the emulator.
You know, when run a app on the emulator,it will be saved at the install directory, and will remain there you run the epoc.exe the next time.
And I want to remove them ,but can't find a way .
I have tried to delete all the exe file I built in the winscw\udeb dir,the program can't be run again, however, the icons are still there, how to remove them?

    Hello Awfulsoul,

From \Epoc32\build\ you need erase the app subdirectory
From \epoc32\include you need to erase app.rsg
From \Epoc32\localisation you need to erase app.rpp
From \Epoc32\release\wins\udeb or urel\z\system delete the app subdirectory
First of all try to remove yr project from \Epoc32\build directory.
If it doesn't work then follow the remaining stpes.

You can replace wins with wincw in yr case.

    Regards.
    Kiran.

Yes, you are right, the .exe is cleaned out with the Clean command (the app wont start but still shows the icon), it seems that for 3.0 the .rsc file is left behind by Clean . Follow the instuctions in the above post or use the command line clean or reallyclean commands, for details see the S60 3.0 SDK Help.

Note that you need to clean once for each project/SDK combination..

didn't find a command line tool to do that, but I find a way:
simply delete the relative files at the path:"Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\z\private\10003a3f\apps" is OK.

    thanks for answering my qs.
