    listing access point groups

    i try to use 'access point groups' in my app on my e70 phone, few groups are created. i try to list them using this code:

    CMDBSession *pDbSession = CMDBSession::NewLC(CMDBSession::LatestVersion());
    CMDBRecordSet<CCDAccessPointRecord>* pSnapRecordSet = new (ELeave) CMDBRecordSet<CCDAccessPointRecord>(KCDTIdAccessPointRecord);
    CleanupStack::PushL(pSnapRecordSet);
    pSnapRecordSet->LoadL(*pDbSession);
    CCDAccessPointRecord *pCurrSNAPRec = NULL;
    for (TInt i = 0; i < pSnapRecordSet->iRecords.Count(); ++i)
    {
    pCurrSNAPRec = (*pSnapRecordSet)[i];
    ...

    calling pSnapRecordSet->LoadL(*pDbSession) always fails.
    what is wrong?

    Check the Leave-code. If it is KErrAccessDenied, you need to add some capabilities.

    Re: listing access point groups

    i had tried TRAP(err, pSnapRecordSet->LoadL(*pDbSession));
    but it just leave my method (called from HandleSystemEventL as reaction on menu event)...

    in my developer's certificate i have these capabilities:

    ReadDeviceData
    WriteDeviceData
    TrustedUI
    ProtServ
    SwEvent
    NetworkServices
    LocalServices
    ReadUserData
    WriteUserData
    Location
    SurroundingsDD
    UserEnvironment

    is it not enought?

    Re: listing access point groups

    Hi,

    i have some problems with Access Point Group.

    I use this code:

    Code:
    _LIT(KApGroupName,"AP-group");

    TInt networkuid = 0;
    TInt err; CMDBSession *pDbSession = NULL;
    CCDAccessPointRecord *pSnapRecordSet = NULL; pDbSession = CMDBSession::NewLC(CMDBSession::LatestVersion()); pSnapRecordSet = static_cast <CCDAccessPointRecord*> (CCDRecordBase::RecordFactoryL(KCDTIdAccessPointRecord)); CleanupStack::PushL(pSnapRecordSet);
    pSnapRecordSet->iRecordName = KApGroupName;
    if (pSnapRecordSet->FindL(*pDbSession)) {
    TRAP(err, pSnapRecordSet->LoadL(*pDbSession)); networkuid = pSnapRecordSet->RecordId();
    }
    to view from the db the settings of my Ap group(name:"Ap-group"), present on my device (E61), but doesn't works. I need help in order to use IAP present into Ap Group, create new Ap Group, etc... Somebody has little example for this function? Where i can find more information about the use of CMDBSession?

    Can somebody help me?

    Thanks all,
