    Unhappy Registering for a MIME type

    I just want to register MIDLet for a specefic mime, i hve written the recognizer in c++ for handling the MIME but now i have to do something similar as in c++ you have to register the application by modifying the .rss file to change the datatype_list and the application is needs to handle the OpenFileL function, but now in midlet what could i do, to do this stuff..i.e. handling the funciton and registering he mime type ??? can any one help

    hi,

    stay in-touch with current j2me technology availability,
    what you are requested is CHAPI (JSR-211) - content handler api for J2me which is not available yet - at least on Nokia devices,
    you can however test applications using emulators, for example Sun WTK 2.5 emulator:
