    MMFAudioClient panic "2"

    Hi all,

    I'm developing a "wrapper" controller that simply forwards the CMMFControllers calls to one of the built in audio controllers (mp3, aac) on 3rd edition devices. I'm doing this in order to get somehow acces to the decoded PCM buffer to use it in a frequency analizer, but after the call to CMMFControllers DurationL that I forward to the mp3 controller my controller gets paniced with MMFAudioClient 2. Does anybody knows what this panic code is all about ? (Yukka, Stenlik).

    Yes, I've solved the problem but I've used a codec plugin to decode the audio data. My error was due to the fact that I was returning a zero duration, but I've also encountered this error in more situations.

    But did you ever get to know the actual reason for the panic, i mean what this panic actually means ?

    well off the beat !

    I have another question, as you have been working with audio utility functions.. wanted to know is there any option to play stream from gprs i.e. via a URL using any api.

    I found out that this panic is raised when you use some function of CMdaAudioPlayerUtility before player is intialized (before MapcInitComplete is called by the framework with KErrNone staus).
