    Contact database Series 60 3rd Edtion

    Hi everybody,
    I work on Series 60 3rd Edition. I want to list the contact databse of my phone, and after open the first, but the last instrcution below fails. I don't kow how to write the right code.

    Code:
    CDesCArray*	pDBArray;
    pDBArray = CContactDatabase::ListDatabasesL();
    TInt nbDB = pDBArray->Count();
    TRAPD(err, m_pContactsDb=CContactDatabase::OpenL(pDBArray[0]));
    The nbDB=1.
    Please help me... Thanks!

    I am a bit lost with TDesC16 and TPtr16, please help me...

    hi asmobease ,

    TPtr16 is a 16 bit modifiable pointer descriptor and
    TDesC16 is Abstract base class for 16 bit descriptors

    why are you confused, the concepts of classes and pointer remains same as c++, you can use TPtr16 to point to 16 bit descriptors and you can manipulate them as we do in c++.
