    Web Application and MMS

    Hi

I'd like to develop a simple application that MMS is sent from web
server to handset. I've download EAIF, Series60 simulatior and Java
lib. I'm confused with the following:

    1. Can I write a web app and using Java lib to send MMS to the
Series 60 simulator? If possible how to do, how can I locate the
    mobile simulator, using localhost?

    2. What is the use of EAIF? It seems that it can only send and rx
MMS and do validation and making no use in product demo.

    3. Can Series 60 simulator, by SDK, interact with the web server:
MS --- criteria ----> Web server
    <---- MMS -------

    Thank you very much

Series60 emulator doesn't listen any ports. It's meant for standalone testing. However, you can send messages to Series60 emulator via EAIF emulator. Just configure your "mmsin" -directory to the eaifem.properties -file, found under EAIF emulator -folder.

EAIF emulator emulates the real MMSC. So, you don't need a connection to the real live MMSC to test your messages.

No, it only deploys the messages to the certain folder.

    >>> You can develop an interface using MMS java library's Orginating application which is connected to your web interface and then give the output to the EAIF emulator then you have to configure the "mmsin" folder (eafim.properties) into series60 emulator.
