    Carbide.c++ express vs Carbide.vs

    What is the advantage of Carbide.c++ express over Carbide.vs?

    I am activly using Visual studio (C# development) and Eclipse (java development). Both IDE's are familiar to me and it is not the reason to choose one or another. Main reason is functionality and easy of use.
    Currently I preffer Carbide.vs, only disadvantage is price of Visual Studio 2003.

    I would be hapiest if Carbide.vs would work with VC2005 expres edition (since it is free).
    Is it a way to make Carbide.vs to work with VC2005 expres or VS2005?
    Does Nokia have any plan to further develop Carbide.vs?

    IMHO, go for Carbide.c++.

    I don't think Nokia will do further development on Carbide.vs (so I would not expect to see Carbide.vs for VS 2005 either).

    for me, there is no substantial difference between carbide c++ and carbide.vs.

    Both of 'em dont have visual programming type, both of requires you to type long codes.

    if i were u, better go to carbide c++ coz the cost of vs.net soars high.

    Re: Carbide.c++ express vs Carbide.vs

    Company I work is MS partner. We have free Visual Studio. Price is not the question.

    Checking blogs I see lot of problems with Carbide.c++

    With Carbide.vs I do not face problems. I have made some tests with SDK S603rdFP1 and works fine.

    On Device Debuging is main reason I am considering Carbide.c++.

    Visual Studio is free for company but not Carbide.c++ profesional.
