    EPOCROOT setting

    Hi all

I changed my platform from 7.0s to 8.0a. After that i tried to compile on Carbide but it gives me this error:

EPOCROOT macro could not be resolved. Check your project Environment properties for errors. Also insure that your devices.xml SDK ID has not changed since the project was created. Reimporting your project will reset the values.

Anybody got an idea how to solve it? Which way can i change EPOCROOT macro?

    Thank you

    Hello,
    You may try:

My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Environment variables > Add

    Variable name: EPOCROOT
    Variable value: \Symbian\8.0a\S60_2nd_FP2\

    Re: EPOCROOT setting

You mean that you uninstalled 7.0 and then installed 8.0 instead?

In that case all your Carbide projects are now set up to depend on an SDK which no longer exists and thus has no information on how to build, hence the error message.

Selecting the SDK to work with is done when you import (or create from a template) a project so reimporting the project should get you going again.

    Re: EPOCROOT setting

Now it has many many errors...i'm trying to fix'em.
I can't solve this: in AudioStream Example, when i build it, it doesn't find:
    #include appinfo.rh>

    output:
appinfo.rh: No such file or directory

    What's it?

    Thanx

    Re: EPOCROOT setting

When you re-import any changes to libraries, include paths etc that you had done on the old project are lost so you need to redo all of those.
