Carbide c++ and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 Working

    Hi
I have S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, the update to Maintenance Release and I am pleased to report it works well. The integration with ALL Versions works well.

I have recompiled Noughts and Crosses Symbian 2D example NAC_scalable_BMP. This worked first time and worked with App TRK to do on- device debug in Developer and Pro versions.

The most interesting thing is that NCF 1.2 framework integration has been added automatically to NCF.

The new Help S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1,file has been integrated into Carbide help. There are lots of entries about using Carbide and update from version 2. S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 now becomes Symbian version 9.2.

The update has documented problems that have been discussed in the forum.

see the link below for S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 "3rd Ed FP1.
All the kits are available from the drop down.

    The configuration have used is:-
Carbide C++ Developer, App Trk, S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, and the phone is a Nokia E61 Europe, SIM free version.

    Good Luck
    Jim
