Logging on S60 3rd edition device

back when I'm still using 2nd edition, RFileLogger class still valid.
On devices I can access drive c which is the drive for logging using RFileLogger.
so I can create C:/log to use for logging.
    but on N91, I can't access drive C.
so how can I log on this device?
I hope someone can help me.
    Thanks.

Why can't you access the c: drive?
Anyway, I personally prefer using my own logging class (ie. using RFile) which gives me more flexibility..

The c:\logs is not protected; so you should be able to access it.

Try with file explorer, such as Y-Browser (http://www.pushl.com/y_browser/) or SysExplorer (http://sysexplorer.newlc.com/project).

the reason i couldn't access c:/logs because the file manager provided by the devices not showing the drive.
    i'll try other file explorer.
thank you for the helps and the links.

Yes, you're right. We cannot access c:\ root directory with built-in file manager. Actually, when you browse using built-in file manager, it always starts in c:\data. So, it is not possible at all to go to the root (c:\).

Just try Y-Browser or SysExplorer. They allow you to browse to any folders, except protected ones (\sys, \private, etc.).

You might want to try the remote logging feature introduced with the S60 3rd SDK.
