In Connection Manager on the N80, when I inspect a WLAN, one of the parameters listed is Tx Power. For my local WLAN, it shows me a Tx output of 1mW.

Where is it getting this from? Is it reading a register out of the WAP (I'm not familiar with exactly what information gets transferred across with the 802.11 protocol) or is it telling me that the phone is pushing out 1mW (which I doubt)?

The reason I ask is that the WAP has a rated power output of 17dBm which translates to 50mW, so I'm wondering where the phone is getting this information from.
