Debugging Multiple Processes in Carbide Pro

I am using 3.0 MR and need to be able to debug both the GUI and the three servers that it depends on.

It is fine debugging the GUI, but once the 1st server is loaded and Rendezvous is called, it fails with KErrNoMemory (-4).

This code is working correctly under Carbide.VS.

    Is debugging multiple servers supported?

    Paul,
I sent you an email about this through our support box. In short, this is possible so something else must be wrong.

Question Re: Denugging Multiple Processes in Carbide Pro

    Hi
I have developed an cleint/server code and I want to debug both the clent and server in Carbide.C++, how can I do that please help.
As carbide.C++ supports only one application (project) to debug.

    Thanks

In order to debug multiple modules use the File > Import > Symbian OS Executable option and import the DLLs you want to debug into your existing project. From there you can get the source tree and set breakpoints.

Check the Carbide.c++ user guide for more info on debugging multiple modueles.

Re: Denugging Multiple Processes in Carbide Pro

Unfortuantaly I could'nt see the wood for the trees on this one.
It turned out this is slightly more complex than I thought.

If I build the projects with Carbide.vs everything is hunky-dory.

Build it with Carbide.c++ and the server fails to execute - it loads and it looks fine with depends.exe.

I have submitted the offending source to matts through carbide support to see if you guys can reproduce what I am seeing.
