    ActivateViewL parameters

Is it somehow possible to send data between views in ActivateViewL parameters? I need to pass a C class object or TUInt.

    Re: ActivateViewL parameters

    Hi,
AFAIK, you cannot pass C class objects or TUint in ActivateViewL().
you could pass a TUid and TDesC object.

Check http://rawsocket.org/?page_id=34 and download the example viewserver.

you would get a better idea on it.

    Re: ActivateViewL parameters

if the C-class needs to shared between your own views in same application, then you could always save it in appui class and access it from all your views in that application. Then you could also utilize the view-messaging to tell the new view to retrieve the class instance from appui when it is activated.
