JAD deployment issue - installs OK, but then what?

I have a simple app (using sms msging and pushregistry activation)... I'm just trying to test out deployment. I deploy it using the eclipse carbide.j plugin. It installs OK on the Nokia N80. However, I can't see how I actually RUN the app. I think there are some issues with deployment because

    a) When I install it (clicking DEPLOY) - it installs TWO instances of my application. That is, in the App Management menu, two copies of my application appear, one saying INSTALLED the other saying NOT INSTALLED. Both with all the same details, etc.

    b) If I remove both instances of the app and deploy again, two entries are again created

    c) there appears to be no extra entries/anywhere on the phone menus where I can actually find the place to start the application suite.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I;'m sure I'm doing something stupid

    Thanks!

Is it possible to see the contents of the jad file? Does other simple midlets behave that way on your device? Hard to say anything based on the information you provided.
