Menu on the Phone Screen in Idle State

    Hello Everyone,
I am writing a C++ application on S60 3rd edition phone that needs to display a menu on the phone while it is in idle state.
Does anyone know how to achieve this?
If so, please let me know how?
    Regards,
    RP

you could always monitor focus events, and just check the UID of the focus app, and when it is the the Idle app, then do what ever you are required to do in there.
