    @jtullis
    its a phones property not to vibrate when the charger is plugged in.
    And it should be very clear that your phones vibration option must be ON
    hope now hurenkam is able to get the phone vibrate

    Re: [announce] Misty : MISO for 3rd edition !

    Hi,

    Things are becoming clear now, not only did I switch back from silent to general last time, I also unplugged the USB cable.
    With USB cable plugged in, the phone doesn't vibrate (regardless of the profile setting).
    Without the USB cable plugged in, phone vibrates in silent and general profiles (as I would expect, since both have vibrate option enabled in my phone).

    Thanks for the info!
    Mark.

    Re: [announce] Misty : MISO for 3rd edition !

    I want to vibrate after the call is connected, but failed. Anyone can help me?

    Code:
    import misty
    import telephone

    def call_callback(state):
      print state[0]
      if state[0]==telephone.EStatusConnected:
        misty.vibrate(500, 100)

    telephone.call_state(call_callback)
    Any other call states can vibrate except EStatusConnected...

    And sorry that my English is poor...

    Hi okey3m and welcome to Pys60 DiBo !

    IMHO, I don't think the Mobile ever vibrates on EstatusConnected !

    What a pity

    If the phone can vibrate on EStatusConnected, we don't need to focus the screen to see whether it's connected when dialing.

    But as you said, I found I can do nothing on EStatusConnected...

    hi okey3m
    let me throw some more light as far as i know when ever a call is received or dialled no other function can be performed by the phone as these two i.e. calling and receiving has got the highest priority.

    Where can I find the misty docs? Or the sources? Because all I see are the sis files.

    What did you do to fix it? (signing&using an unsigned PyS60 Shell 1.4.4 with all capabilities didn't help)

    Best,

    Edit The problem disappeared after rebooting the phone. Now the misty module works without problems with Pys60 1.4.5
