Client Server in Carbide C++ Express

    Hi All,

Actually I am trying to Import the Client Server Example of SDK by Carbide C++ Express. I have imported the bld.inf file with the help of Import Option on the tool.

But as I am trying to Build Project its showing error that its not finding the timeserver.h and timeserversession.h.

Is this problem because the bld.inf includes both mmp or something else which I am missing and its creating hell lot of directories in my workspace.

But when I am just creating a new project its working fine with single mmp file.

Please help I am new to Carbide.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Adi

I don't have an answer (I am also new to carbide), but I am also trying to implement a client server system and was wondering where this example project is located.

If you are talking about Client-Server example in the SDK(3rd-MR), it's in the:
    C:\Symbian\9.1\....\Examples\Base\IPC\.

Carbide C++ Express doesn't support the EPOCEXE targettype, which is necessary to generate the server dll for the emulator. You need to get the developer edition, or you can try to build it from the command line. You need to install Codewarrior (trial version is sufficient) or set a lot of environment variables to be able to build from command line.
