    CEikRichTextEditor display

    Hi All,
    I am creating a listbox, put some text in it, all work fine, but sometimes the text displayed from the end. I've already set the cursor position, adding line break in the begining and the end, calling drawnow but nothing works.
    Can someone give me some clues?

    thx
    Ronald

    Check the order in which you append items on the list.

    Are you using the Insert() to put the contents onto the rich text?
    Post some codes where you find the problem. Just write the contents onto a file (the contents which Insert() takes) and check whether its from top to bottom or the other way.
    this seems to be a strange problem rather.

    Re: CEikRichTextEditor display

    Here is my code for appending text to the RichText:

    TInt docLength = iRtEd->Text()->DocumentLength();
    iRtEd->RichText()->InsertL( docLength, aText );
    iRtEd->RichText()->ApplyCharFormatL( iCharFormat, iCharFormatMask, docLength, aText.Length() );

    The text in the richtext is in the correct manner, from top to bottom, but the richtext displayed the bottom part of it.

    thanks

    Just try this.

    Code:
    iRtEd->RichText()->InsertL(0, aText );
    as the sdk says
    The document position at which to insert the character/descriptor.
    Just give a try!
