    Series 40 General Question

Could not find the right forum for the question, but here goes :

Is there a C or C++ interface for Series 40 ? All the information I have seen says there is a Java API, but wanted to develop in C / C++.

    Re: Series 40 General Question

Series 40 phones are based on Nokia operating system and there is no C/C++ interface for that platform. The tools you can use to develop on Series 40 phones are Java ME and Flash Lite

Is there anyway to access the C/C++ layer through a OEM or development partner program or anything.

    Re: Series 40 General Question

No, there is no access to the underlying Nokia OS to normal developers or Forum Nokia PRO developers or through any other partnering program. The only methods to develop applications on Series 40 phones are Java ME or Flash Lite.
