    Unable to access activation keys

    Hi guys,
I have created a Separate Delivery DCF file using NMIT 4.1. When I try to open that file on a S60 phone, it says contents not ativated..

So i sent the Right object file via WAP Push to my S60 phone.

But now when I try to open DCf file, it says not activated.. Activate now and then it takes me to some url(ofcouse its garbage as I have not specified any while creating DRM object)

Question : Now I have both DRM content and Right Object in my phone.. Still I am not able to open Can anyboby tell my whats the problem.

Also when I try to open the Right Object messages that I sent using WAP Push(via NOW_SMS), it says "Unable to access activation keys"

    Please help me out..

Here is the right object I generated using NMIT, I have encoded a jpeg image as separate delivery to have display limit of 10 times.

I don't see any problem in rights file. just recheck content IDs of DCF file and rights file.

Re: Unable to access activation keys

    Hi,

    1) I used Separate Delivery.
    2) Created .dcf(conent) and .dr(right object) file using NMIT 4.0.
    3) I received the "Activation Keys" Successfully. on my phone using WAP Push.
5)I access the Usuage Rights Message( it shows all the details) and says "content not in phone"
    6) Now I transferred content(.dcf file) to the phone using PC Suite.
    7) Now I once again open the Usage rights message, Content is in phone and activated.

    8) I see the details of DCF file.it says activated.. FINE
    9) But when I try to play this file it says

    MultiMedia Message:
    MMS Access Points
    URI's are not the same.
    Please check the URI's.

Can somebody please help me out..whats the issue?

    Thanks
    Ashish

Re: Unable to access activation keys

I also face the same problem here, my pair of dr, dcf is working very well on S40, but when come to S60 (even E71) is not working, it said unable to access the activation key.

I bluetooth the dcf to E71/6120, it saids no activated, go online. Fine, after then I send WAP Push the key to my phone using nowsms, when it reach my SMS Inbox, I saw a Activation Key, but when I try to open it, it said unable to access activation keys.

The method work very well on S40, include 2630, 3110.

    Can some Nokia expert help?

    Thanks.

I faced the same problem and after invistigation to the dcf and drc files i found that the content ID in dcf file have an invalid charachter that lead to this case , so change your content ID and insure that it ends with a-z charachter not number of unicode charachter.
ie http://www.mutawef.com/2 may lead to this case and for your knowlege the case may mot apear on many mobiles but it apears in some of them only even with the same versions of mobile
