    3rd Edition IDE

    Hi,

I'm Intermediate Symbian s60 2nd Edition (FP1,FP2) I used to work with (VS .Net 2003) IDE , If I want to work with (3rd) edition Is Mandatory to work with (Carbide.c++ IDEs)? Can I continue working with (Vs .Net) on 3rd edition? Is there a big difference between (3rd) and (2nd) editions In the structure of programming?

Of course you can continue to work with Carbide.Vs with 3rd edition development.

As far as 2nd edition and 3rd edtion is concerned, there has been new platform securities features introduced from 3rd edition. So there is a difference between them. Read for "Data Caging" under "Platform Security FAQ" in the 3rd edition SDK help for more information.

    Regards.
